we are now over the half-way mark of the footy season and the boys are so glad to be back at Auskick after the school holidays. i took these yesterday morning in-between the raindrops! i just *love* how they really show their personalities....

i didn't get any really good 'kicking' or 'handball' shots, as there seemed to always be someone in the way - so i'll give it another try next week!
i took this one of my little sulky-faced girl at the golf course on monday. she wasn't happy about something, but i can't remember what it was now! i love the nice golden-light reflecting off her skin... the light was fading fast, and she just turned around and i snapped... so it isn't the sharpest - but i like it anyway!

just thought i'd share this one i took last weekend... i like the way you can see their reflections - will share more later in the next few days!
since it was a public holiday on monday, there was no photography class at tafe - so donna (the girl i met online and also goes to the photography course... hi donna!!) and i decided to go up to king's park and play around instead. we were trying to get the red trails of car tail lights, but since there weren't too many cars, it wasn't all that successful! also i think the bright street lights also took away from the cars lights - as you can see the white headlights ok... anyway - it was freezing cold, so we played for a while and then took a few shots of the trees along kings park drive. they are lit up at night when there is an occasion, so they were green and gold for the foundation day long weekend. i think later in the month they might be pink and white, so i'd like to go back!! anyway, here's the best of a bad bunch - all totally sooc.
quite like the last two... they were taken from the ground looking up at the trees. just put my camera down and got what i got - would like to play with this idea again next time!!

here are a few more shots that i love from freo last week! these little guys look so cute! i'm really loving the 'seriousness' of their faces rather than the posed "cheese" faces you often get with kids! i want to get myself a good "urban acid" action to try on these, thought it would be a great effect considering the location!
